I'm Sharon Neuhofer (pronounced Nī-hōfer), but just call me Sharon.
I would like to tell you a little bit about myself and why I know I’m a great choice to be your Realtor. We all know that people like to deal with those they like, trust and feel comfortable with. Reading this, I hope it will help you get to know me better until we have the opportunity to meet personally.
A little history… I am a local girl, raised right here in Punta Gorda where I went to elementary, middle and high school, in fact my children also attended the same schools.
I served for 14 years as a legislative aide for the Florida House of Representatives. This sparked an ongoing interest in governmental affairs and the effects legislation can have on everyday life for all Floridians. While working in Tallahassee for the legislature, I also met my future husband and business partner, Andy.
My knowledge and experience in the governmental and political arena led to an over 6 year tenure as the Executive Director of the Charlotte Builders & Contractors Association (now known as the Charlotte-DeSoto Building Industry Association). During that time I gained the in-depth knowledge of the local housing industry that I now put to work for my real estate clients.
Fourteen years ago, after living most of my life in Charlotte County, my family moved to the neighboring and more rural DeSoto County. With 2 children and now 4 grandchildren, we have lots of fun and family time on our peaceful, unspoiled 27 acres of land. We enjoy fishing and hunting and I also have a day now and then to look for fossils or go shopping for antiques.
Since joining Coldwell Banker Sunstar-Morris in 2004, I have accomplished many hours of sales and marketing training, continuing education and have also earned the prestigious GRI designation from the National Association of Realtors. Click here for more on GRI.
